Virtues & Musings
typography exploration
Virtues and Musings consist of two essays that were formatted by hand and include creative uses of typography. Inspiration was derived from illuminated manuscripts, and 19th-century texts and advertisements. Rather than using multiple typefaces for the main text, a single typeface was used with its various fonts to denote hierarchy and add visual interest, much like the early days of the printing press when they were limited to a single typeface.
